The Aurora Teen Pregnancy and Prevention Project’s (ATP3) Mission is to improve and protect the emotional, physical and sexual health of young people through prevention education, confidential case management, support groups, the Teen Clinic and community advocacy.

Case Management:
To provide support, information, and resources to teens, ages 11-19, in Aurora and unincorporated Arapahoe County who are pregnant, parenting or demonstrating high risk behaviors through individual sessions with a case manager and community advocacy in order to encourage self- sufficiency and improve relationships with others, including their children.

Support Groups:
To create a safe setting for pregnant and parenting teens in Aurora to meet in order to receive support, education and information in their school environment or alternate community setting.

It Takes Two:
To encourage teens in Aurora high schools and community programs to share responsibility for building healthy relationships to increase awareness of acquaintance rape among teens, to demonstrate the impact of alcohol on decision making and to encourage choices that lead to reduced premature/unplanned pregnancies, STDs, STIs and HIV.

To encourage teens in Aurora middle schools to identify and build healthy relationships, to increase understanding of puberty, current realities in STDs, STIs and HIV and illustrate the effects of an unplanned pregnancy on future goals.

Teen Clinic:
To improve and protect the sexual health of any teen aged 11-19, living in the Denver Metro area by providing confidential, low cost, age appropriate family planning services including educational and counseling components with a special focus on teen sexuality and informed decision making.

Community:
